Multi-Modal Physiological Measurement Solution

October 14, 2020 Hopkinton, MA Tri-Star Design, Inc. announced today turn-key design support through Analog Devices Partner Program collaboration for the ADPD4100. The ADPD4100 is a multi-modal sensor front end that measures and synchronizes several physiological parameters in a tiny 2.1 X 2.8 mm wafer level chip scale package (WLCSP).  Now with Tri-Star Design engineering services and the ADPD4100, new use cases in wearable health monitoring applications requiring multi-parameter measurements can be achieved. The ADPD4100 offers best in class signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the lowest power for continuous photoplethysmography (PPG) and also includes electrocardiograph (ECG) and bioimpedance measurement capability.

Early detection of health issues can be achieved by combining multiple signals.  New use cases like non-invasive blood pressure monitoring combine PPG, ECG or bioimpedance information.  Traditionally measuring and synchronizing each of those parameters required several components but now can be measured, digitized and synchronize in a single chip, making Tri-Star Design turn-key capabilities in wearable, wireless, battery operated sensor hubs a reality.
