Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience is required in software embedded design, coding, and testing
  • BS EE/CE or equivalent required
  • 10+ years’ experience in design and development of real time embedded software applications
  • Experience with C, and C++ software development and Real Time Operating Systems
  • Experience and familiarity with embedded architectures, drivers or other low level programming and knowledge of networking

Minimum Requirements:

  • BSEE or equivalent required
  • 5+ years’ experience is required in electronic board design and testing
  • Experience and familiarity with microcontroller design and development
  • Experience with ISM, WiFi and BTLE wireless design and development
  • Experience and familiarity with dc-dc power supply design
  • Experience with CPLD and FPGA design and development

Primary Responsibilities: Tri-Star Design, Inc., a rapidly growing, electronic design services company, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineering Contractor to support our growing development group. Requirements shall include plastics, sheet metal, electrical and mechanical system engineering, and thermal mitigation.

  • This position will collaborate with other members of our R&D team that will include integration of electronic and electrical systems.
  • Will assist in the design, development, and implementation of plastic and sheet metal solutions.
  • Ensure that electrical and mechanical systems are integrated capably and effectively.
  • Create equipment specifications and requirements for equipment.
  • Troubleshoot design errors as well as proactively seek out areas for improvement.
  • Utilize machine design requirements such as 3D design, programming, wiring, and safety features.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
  • Strong CAD skills (surface modeling, building assemblies, rendering, 2D drawings, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to support regular interactions with sponsors, peer reviewers, and others for report and proposal preparation.
  • Successful candidate will have strong multitasking ability.

Primary Responsibilities:  Demonstrate ability and experience designing, developing, testing, and documenting iOS and Android mobile apps. Work closely with the other software team members to design functional and user-friendly mobile apps.

Position requirements

Extensive experience in:

  • Designing and coding a baseline mobile application and adding to it the iOS and Android specifics
  • Defining client-server interfaces
  • Third party application programing interface (API) and software development kits (SDK)
  • Submitting apps to Google Play and App Store
  • Writing a test plan, unit- and integration testing

Software engineering skills:

  • Solid knowledge of either: Python, Java, C#, Objective C, Swift

Minimum education:

Primary Responsibilities: Tri-Star Design, Inc., a rapidly growing, electronic design services company, is seeking a Mechatronics / Robotics Engineering Contractor to support our growing robotics development group. Requirements shall include robotics, electrical and mechanical system engineering, and automation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
  • Knowledge of CAM, gear mechanisms, DC, server and stepper motors, and basic electronic sensors is strongly desired.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • FPGA/CPLD development using Verilog or VHDL
  • High-speed serial interfaces in FPGAs

Primary Responsibilities: Tri-Star Design, Inc. is looking for part-time engineering project manager to provide support and lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products.  Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies.

Manages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for each project.
Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned project.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in either electronic product design or management.
  • Customer facing experience.
  • Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Summary
To be an industry-recognized expert in a specialized area delivering outstanding work to customers across consumer, industrial and specifically healthcare and act as a key PDD brand ambassador helping to develop the business with the participation in select sales and marketing initiatives.
In combination with sector leads, to ensure PDD is up to date with ergonomics and Human Factors literature, relevant standards, guidance documents, and applicable legal and ethical frameworks. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Project management/review

  • Project managing HFE programmes and project teams to deadlines and budget in a fast-paced consultancy environment
  • Provide subject matter peer review of HFE proposals and project work
  • Exercise strong commercial judgement throughout planning and delivery
  • Delivering to client expectations in accordance with the PDD quality system
  • Service key healthcare brand accounts as the main point of contact and relationship lead

  • Networking within professional bodies, academia & interest groups to identify new leads
  • Pursuing and qualifying leads, taking meetings and turning leads into successful proposal opportunities
  • Taking briefs, planning, costing, and closing them

Requirements

  • Experience in human factors for the design and development of medical equipment, systems and services and demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable regulatory pathways for human factors in medical device development (including project management of said activities)
  • Expert in moderating/facilitating usability evaluations and workshop activities

Experience of:

– developing required documentation to high technical standards

– use-related risk management, including hazard identification, uFMEA and residual risk analysis

– conducting preliminary analyses such as task analysis, heuristic analysis and expert reviews

– designing and evaluating instructional materials, e.g. IFUs, QRGs and training videos

  • Ability to prepare bids, proposals and work packages according to client requirements and PDD capabilities, with the intent to win work
  • Proven business development capabilities, showing ability to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to prepare high-quality technical documentation for presentation internally and to clients
  • Ability to self-manage; maintaining flexibility and organization to meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Usability Engineering or a related field (other degrees will be considered with relevant experience)
