Tri-Star Design is actively seeking engineering consultants for both entry level and senior level positions. We currently have openings for the following positions:

Senior Software Diagnostic Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Tri-Star Design, Inc. is looking for some exceptional diagnostics software engineering contractors that are highly-motivated, self-starters with a diverse product background. We need team players that are excellent communicators with a demonstrated professional history of becoming experts in new technologies and helping to bring new products to market.

Minimum Requirements:

- Experience is required in software diagnostics design, coding, and testing.
- BS EE/CE or equivalent required.
- 10+ years experience in design and development of hardware and software diagnostics in support of development and manufacturing.
- Experience with C, and C++ software development and RTOS (Real time Operating Systems).
- Experience and familiarity with embedded architectures, memory testing, DSP and knowledge of networking.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Part-time Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new accounts through telephone and in person sales calls.
- Work closely with customers to identify needs, define budget perimeters, assess problems and create programs and strategies to achieve desired results.
- Develop effective marketing plans and proposals to approach targeted accounts and maximize sales territory revenue.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships in a highly competitive marketplace by effectively interacting with senior management and keeping abreast of new business within the territory.
- Proficient lead generation through extensive networking, relationship selling, follow-up with current clientele and effective cold calling.


Minimum Requirements:

- Successful selling experience and a track record of attaining challenging sales goals and managing accounts within a designated region. Preferably within a service industry.
- Four-year degree preferred.
- Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Windows Operating System, Outlook
- Highly skilled in Internet Navigation techniques needed for sourcing new business and research
